Shine God’s compassionate love “in times of trouble”
The next generation of Christ-followers who experience persecution firsthand has a message for you, via Open Doors:
“Faith helps us endure and find hope. But the present circumstances and ongoing crises weaken our endurance. We feel forgotten by the world at large, while being isolated and alone in a hostile environment.
“We, as young citizens, strongly believe that the presence of Christians in the Middle East keeps the region from reaching the bottom of the abyss. We are the blood that the Middle East is bleeding right now. If nothing is done, it leads to its death.”
Across North Africa and the Middle East, church leaders are seeing a lack of hope in young people.
“Many want to leave the region, because of economic decline and limited job opportunities, on top of discrimination and persecution,” according to Open Doors.
You have seen the reports — read the news — heard about tragedy after tragedy that your brothers and sisters in Christ face in hostile nations.
Today you can lend a hand — do something tangible to help Christians in need ...
Through Liberty Relief International.
As you give generously now to LRI, you’ll stand with fellow Christians — young and old alike — by helping local, on-the-ground ministry partners meet their most urgent needs.
“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,” Psalm 9:9 says, “a stronghold in times of trouble.”
Your support right now will remind our persecuted family of the stronghold they have in God the Father … and in fellow believers like you.
Your gift will provide tangible, desperately needed hope through trauma counseling, spiritual and emotional support, humanitarian aid, and much more.
We are called to help the suffering.
Please pray for the many persecuted Christian family members overseas whose hope is waning. And please let them know they are NOT forgotten.
You have my deepest gratitude.
