Turn Your Compassion Into Action

Psalm 10 is a chapter one can easily compare to the persecution of believers in many nations around the world.
It starts out (vv. 1-2):
Why, Lord, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,
who are caught in the schemes he devises.
Then (v. 8):
He lies in wait near the villages;
from ambush he murders the innocent.
The psalm ends with (vv. 17-18):
You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
defending the fatherless and the oppressed,
so that mere earthly mortals
will never again strike terror.
I encourage you to read the chapter in its entirety. And I also urge you to defend those who need safety and security from violence and brutality.
As God leads you, please support your brothers and sisters in Christ through LRI today.
You hear the cry of their hearts. You know their affliction. You see their oppression.
Turn your compassion into action for Christians who are terrorized daily for their faith.
Thank you.
In His service,
