Hurricane Helene Relief

Hurricane Helene left a path of devastation across the Southeast, from the coast of Florida to the mountains of North Carolina.

Hurricane Helene was a catastrophic and fast-moving tropical cyclone that was the strongest on record to strike the Big Bend region of Florida. Helene made landfall as a Category 4 on the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2024, near the city of Perry, Florida, with maximum sustained winds of 140 mph and causing storm surges of 15 feet to 18 feet.

This hurricane has caused widespread destruction, and many deaths are attributed to it in parts of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Millions are without power, water, and cell service. Many people are still missing after Helene’s deadly march across the Southeast. Massive rains and flooding have caused creeks and rivers to flow over their banks and strain dams. Some towns and cities are now isolated by flooding and subsequent road closures.

Please pray for the families and communities along the path of this massive storm as they recover spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Liberty Relief International has partnered with ministries working on the ground in this recovery process to provide people with tangible items such as water, food, baby formula, diapers, etc.

Please consider a financial gift to help during this difficult time.
